I spent years teaching sustainable culinary arts to 1000’s of kids in schools and after-school programs, as well as inspiring and training school food service directors in healthy eating. I have written recipes for Produce companies such as Mann Packing, Enza Zaden USA and Divine Flavor of Mexico and helped them put healthy spins on classic recipes. I have been the Ambassador Chef for Enza Zaden’s Tribelli sweet mini bell peppers and Divine Flavor Magnifico cherry tomato.
I have worked as a demonstration chef and made recipe videos for those companies as well as worked using my palate to help them develop flavor forward varieties of fruits and veggies.
I feel fully alive and that I am living my life’s purpose. I love to to share yesterday’s Sunshine filtered through beautiful fresh plant foods. I feel I am helping others in a tremendous way-sometimes inspiring someone to gain a new lease on life. I feel and know I am making a positive difference in the world.
My clients and students have expressed that they feel held, nurtured, loved, seen, met, safe, able, inspired, activated and content. Some people have said they are delightfully transformed and feel they are “youthing” from the teachings or preparations I have shared with them.
I gently guide people that no longer can or want to eat animals or animal products due to a doctor’s mandate, personal spiritual views, religious or culture beliefs as well as people who want to live more simply and have radiant health. The people, the planet, the plants, the animals, the water and the air benefit from humans consuming more plant foods and less animal foods.
